About the book

This book of children’s colour-coded sheet music in Spanish is designed to make it easier to start reading music, using a visual system based on note colours, with free audio tracks for support. It lets you start making music without any prior knowledge of music theory, making music learning accessible to every child.

The book is recommended for children aged 3 and over and is used both at home and in schools. This children’s colour-coded sheet music in Spanish is especially useful as a resource for starting to learn Spanish, as the repertoire includes traditional folk songs with the full lyrics in Spanish, supporting listening comprehension and pronunciation through music.

The book contains 20 children’s songs, presented in two formats: standard notation and sheet music adapted with coloured dots, following the colours of the rainbow. This visual correspondence helps link colour with sound and the position of the note, building a gradual understanding of reading music.

As a bonus, the book includes two extra pages of round coloured stickers that can be placed on instruments such as keyboards, xylophones or other school instruments. This hands-on resource reinforces learning through play and direct experimentation.

The children’s colour-coded sheet music in Spanish comes with free audio tracks: sung versions of the songs and the matching backing tracks, so you can play and sing at the same time. In the updated edition, the book also includes simple ukulele chords built into the colour-coded sheet music, opening up more possibilities for accompaniment.

This material was created to make reading music easier for children with special educational needs, promoting inclusion in music. It’s widely used in music therapy and among resources for schools, as it lets children of different abilities learn and make music together.
