Accessibility
At CapaPublisher we want everyone to be able to browse the catalogue, listen to the audio tracks and buy the books, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with the keyboard only or zoom in on the screen. Here we explain how we have built the www.capapublisher.com website, what we know still needs improving and how to let us know if you come across a barrier.
How we have built it
We have built the website with the WCAG 2.1 level AA accessibility guidelines in mind, the benchmark in Europe:
- It can be used with the keyboard: there is a link to skip straight to the content, and you can always see where the focus is.
- Pages have titles and headings in a logical order, and forms have labels and written error messages.
- Every page states which language it is in: the website is available in Catalan, Spanish, English, German and French.
- Images that carry information, such as book covers, have alternative text.
What still needs improving
The website is new and we have not yet carried out a full review, so we consider it partially compliant with these guidelines. We know that:
- The PDF samples of the books are mostly sheet music and illustrations, and may not be accessible with a screen reader.
- YouTube videos depend on the platform and not all of them have subtitles.
- Some of the alternative texts for images are still provisional: we are reviewing them.
If you come across a barrier
Write to us at capa@capapublisher.com or through the Contact page and tell us what you could not do and on which page. We will reply as soon as possible and, if needed, send you the information in another format. If you find it difficult to place an order on the website, you can also call us on +34 665 673 205 and we will help you.
About this statement
We prepared it ourselves on 2 November 2026, based on a review of the website. We will review it every year and whenever we make significant changes.
