Cookie policy

This website, owned by Joan Capafons i Manils (CapaPublisher), uses cookies and other similar technologies. Here we explain which ones, what they are for and how you can decide which ones you accept.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser to remember information from one page to the next: for example, what you have in your basket or what you have chosen about cookies. Some features also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way. In this policy, when we say “cookies” we mean both.

Which cookies we use

Necessary cookies make the website work and cannot be switched off: the basket, checkout, your customer account and your cookie choices. They are not used for anything else.

All other cookies are only activated if you accept them in the banner or in the cookie settings:

  • External content: YouTube and Vimeo videos on the book pages. They are not loaded until you allow each platform. When they load, the platform receives your IP address and browser data, and may use its own cookies.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, to find out how many visits we receive and which pages are viewed most.

How to change your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time: open the cookie settings. You will also find the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser:

If you block the necessary cookies, the basket and checkout will not work.

Transfers outside the European Union

Google (YouTube and Google Analytics) and Vimeo may process data in the United States. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or offer the safeguards required by the GDPR. You can read their policies here: Google and Vimeo.
