Weihnachts-Regenbogenlieder

Weihnachts-Regenbogenlieder is an innovative teaching resource that combines the tradition of German Christmas carols with a visual, inclusive approach to learning music.

This songbook brings together 10 of Germany’s most popular traditional Christmas carols, arranged so that children, families and schools can sing and play them easily.

Each song includes:

🎵 Main melody in standard notation.

🎸 Ukulele chords to accompany the singing.

🌈 Standard score in colour following the Rainbow Songs colour code, which links each note to a colour so the notes are easy to identify visually.

🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣 Adapted score with coloured circles, a system designed especially to support inclusion and make playing music easier for children, beginner pupils and people who find traditional notation difficult to read.

This dual system draws a parallel between conventional music reading and a much more intuitive visual representation, so every pupil can take an active part from the very first moment.

It is especially suitable for:

• Early years and primary education.
• Music schools.
• Conservatoires.
• Music teachers.
• Families.
• Inclusive education projects.
• Music therapy.
• Cooperative learning.
• First steps in music.

Includes the following traditional German Christmas carols, performed by Olivia Brinkmann Espuny
